Students from Hoppers Crossing are a step closer to having the transformed first-rate school facilities they deserve, thanks to the Andrews Labor Government.
Minister for Education James Merlino today visited The Grange P-12 College to inspect the new building plans following the $9.5 million investment in the Victorian Budget 2019/20 for a major upgrade.
These works will include the transformation of existing classrooms and facilities with a major upgrade to the science block, including sport science learning spaces and science specialist areas.
The Labor Government had already funded the masterplan for The Grange P-12 College. This investment will help turn the school’s vision into a reality.
This upgrade is part of the Labor Government’s massive investment of $5.6 billion to deliver new schools, more than 1,400 school upgrades, and support over 5,000 construction jobs for Victorians.
Under the Labor Government’s school building boom, 100 new schools will open by 2026, ensuring every child can access a great local school and a great start in life.
