Families in Williams Landing will soon have more choice in where to send their child to school with the Andrews Government establishing a shared enrolment zone in the suburb.
Today, Minister for Education James Merlino and Member for Tarneit Sarah Connolly announced that the suburb of Williams Landing will benefit from a new shared enrolment arrangement with neighbouring schools.
This arrangement will mean that enrolment applications from families living in the suburb of Williams Landing and living within the shared enrolment area indicated on the map below, will be accepted by Truganina South Primary School. This arrangement is in place for the next three years, from 2023 to 2025.
Truganina South Primary School has additional enrolment capacity that can be filled by students living within the suburb of Williams Landing.
In addition, families living in Williams Landing will also retain the choice of sending their child to the school they are currently zoned to, which includes Laverton P-12 College and Seabrook Primary School, should they wish to do so. Parents can find the school they have previously been zoned to at Findmyschool.vic.gov.au.
This arrangement has been implemented to improve access for families living in Williams Landing to their local primary school.
