Community activation grants are designed to help support local sporting organisations to offer more Victorian women and girls the opportunity to participate and lead through sport and recreation.

Truganina Rabbitohs Rugby League Club will receive a grant of $4,950.

The popular program has supported a range of events and programs that celebrate and showcase the important role that women and girls play in all levels of sport and recreation. These range from come and try days and leadership workshops through to networking and education sessions designed to inspire the next generation of leaders in sport and active recreation.

The grants are part of the broader Victorian Government $241.6 million commitment to level the playing field for women and girls in sport and recreation.
